THE BOROUGH STUDIO is a purpous built recording studio hiding in Brisbane. It is the main studio of producer SKRITCH and home now to many of Australia’s most exciting projects.
The BOROUGH is the result of SKRITCH’S years of experience working in many of Australia’s top studios and is designed around his organic style of music production. With the design of the physical building he worked in conjunction with Ultrafonic who are some of Australia’s top acoustic engineers and designers.
The gear is carefully selected to maximise flexibility in the recording process whilst never letting the ‘mechanics’ of the process get in the way of a great performance.
SKRITCH has for many years been collecting vintage instruments, microphones, amplifiers and all manner of musical and recording gear which comes together to create an environment where there is no limit to your creativity.
The whole set up is designed to remove all obstacles from the creative process and provide an environment where every thing required to furfill your musical aspirations is ready and at hand and nothing will get in the way of capturing that most important element of any recording... the vibe.
